The Catalog Is Back Online

The catalog was unavailable due to a major incident at the hosting provider Beget, where its server was located
As a result, the catalog's server was lost

Since November 1 I had been waiting for a fresh backup from the provider, hoping to restore everything with minimal data loss
That is exactly why it took so long

But given the latest news, it seems there is no point in counting on that backup anymore
So I decided not to delay any longer and brought the catalog back up on a new server from my own database copy dated October 11

All data up to October 11 has been restored, and the losses affected only publications and changes made after that date

At the same time, project files and covers were stored separately and survived
Thanks to this, I was able to match them against the old database and recover some of the more recent data

What was recovered

Of the 189 new models published after October 11, 95 were recovered
For existing publications, files and covers were updated, and 183 cloud projects were synced to the latest surviving versions
2 plugin updates and one new plugin were also restored

Unfortunately, the rest from this period could not be recovered

About your cloud projects

Cloud projects that were not yet in the database on October 11 could not be linked to their owners

But!
BDEngine keeps local copies of the projects you worked on
Check the browser or app where you created and opened them - most likely the copies you need are still there and it is enough to save them to the cloud again

Note that the release, beta, and different browsers each have separate storage, so it is worth checking those too

About relevance

The period from October 11 to November 7 has been temporarily excluded from model age calculation
Models will not be considered outdated because of this gap, and recovered publications from this period will start their age count from November 8

This will give them the usual new-model bonuses and a chance to build an audience
The actual publication dates on the site are preserved
